Description
A Fine Scandanavian Figured Birch Vanity Box on Stand. The rectangular box having a hinged lid inlaid with stringing and a drawer underneath opening as the lid rises to reveal fitted interiors. The box section enclosing four pentagonal glass bottled with silver caps to the back and a revolving tray of silver mounted implements pivoting on a corner post. The drawer with silver mounted nail buffers, pots and brushes above a further side opening trough drawer with tapered sides housing a bowl recess. The slender square legs united by an X-form stretcher and terminating on out-swept feet, 32¾” (83 cm) high, 12” (30.5 cm) wide, 9¾” (24.5 cm) deep.
