An Early 19th Century Ash Stick Back Windsor Armchair with residual dark green paintwork. The bent-wood back hoop framing 10 stick spindles piercing through the arm bow and flanked by 6 further underarm spindles with curved end supports. The thick bell-shaped elm seat with outflared front corners and a bevelled under-edge, morticed and wedged to turned legs united by a crinoline stretcher, 34¾” (88 cm) high, the seat 14” (36 cm) high, 21” (53.5 cm) wide.
