Description
Four Miniature Corkscrews for medicine or scent bottles. One circa 1810 with a ring turned handle, steel baluster shank and simple helix, 2½” (6.5 cm) in length. The second with horn handle, probably British circa 1820, 2 5/8” (6.5 cm) in length. The third circa 1870’s having a beechwood handle with turned mushroom finials, 2¾” (7 cm) in length. The last circa 1900 with a wooden ‘toggle’ handle and wire helix, alternatively possibly for an ink bottle, 2” (5 cm) in length.
