Three 18th Century Slat back Side Chairs: One with a shaped cresting rail over four vertical slats incised with trellis bands and flanked by plain uprights with lobe cut finials, the side seat on turned front legs & stretcher with plain stretchers to the sides, 40” (102 cm) high, 18” (36 cm) wide. The second having a shaped cresting rail over five vertical slats flanked by plain uprights, with a plank seat in a moulded frame on turned legs with stretchers, 41” (104 cm) high, 18” (46 cm) wide. And a dark stained oak bar-topped chair having a narrow fielded back panel with ogee arched top in a moulded frame flanked by uprights leasing to a solid seat on turned legs united by a high turned front stretcher and H-form under-stretcher, 40½” (103 cm) high, 16½” (42 cm) wide.
