The piece intricately embroidered in coloured silks in a variety of stitches depicting a sun burst to the top above a pear tree and central figure knelt beside a winged angel, with a dragonfly and appliquéd bee alongside, above an animal, man fishing and a diminutive house and flowers to the fore. Set in a later burr figured frame 12¼” x 13” (31 cm x 33 cm).*
