Four Pieces of Treen: A 19th Century Turned Fruitwood Wassail Bowl; the ring turned sides engraved with verse; ‘Old Apple tree, we wassail thee, And hoping thou will bare,Hatfuls, capfuls, and three bushel bagfuls, And a little to keep under the stairs’, raised on a pedestal foot, 6¾” (17 cm) high, 5¼” (13.5 cm) in diameter. A Late 19th/Early 20th Century Loving Spoon with pierced handle above a wrythen fluted stem and oval bowl, 9” (23 cm) in length. An a small boarded candlebox with open trough on a shaped back board pierced with a suspension hole and fitted with a block match holder, 9” (23 cm) high, 6¾” (17 cm) wide. An 18th/Early 19th Century Naive Painted Treen Platter with raised sides and shaped lug handles, retaining traces of blue pigment 16½” (42 cm) in width.
