A Fine Mid 19th Century Flame Mahogany Chiffonier with Secrètaire. The panelled back having two graduated shelves supported on slender corner columns. The frieze housing a hinged fall-front drawer enclosing a fitted interior with a bank of pigeon holes flanked by small drawers to the back, and a leather inset writing surface with tooled gilt borders. The cupboard below having moulded panel doors flanked by turned columns leading down to a break-front plinth base, 56¼” (143 cm) high, 45” (114 cm) wide, 17¾” (45 cm) deep.
