The round marble top in a moulded frame raised on the head of a caryatid draped with a gilded scarf and wearing a skirt of wrythen plumes above a rectangular section column carved with foliate knops enriched with gilding. The low round platform base inlaid with a marquetry wreath of flowers and foliage, 37½” (95 cm) high. The top 15¾” (40 cm) in diameter.
