The pierced cresting rails carved with birds and foliate scrolls flanking a cartouche with pendant garlands of leaves and berries running down the sides, flanked by barley-twist uprights surmounted by finials. Standing on turned legs with barley-twist H-form stretchers 43¾” (11 cm) high, the seats 18½” (47 cm) high, 18” (46 cm) wide.
