Worked in a palette of ivory and graduated blue silk threads outlined in metallic gold, depicting a lavish display of peonies, peaches and blossom cascading form a decorative urn on a crimson ground bordered by a black silk band of flowers and gilt scroll work, 19¼” (49 cm) in diameter. Mounted in a later glazed black frame with a fretted brass hanger to the top 24 (62 cm) square.
