A 19th Century Northumberland Knitting Sheath of curved rectangular form. The needle hole centring a diamond section of bone inlay. The front inlaid with chequer bands, a bone diamond initialled ‘N’ and incorporating a glazed inset with inscription ‘forget me not’, 7½ in (19 cm) in length.
