Description
Four Wooden handled Corkscrews: A straight-pull ‘Holborn Signet’ corkscrew circa 1880, with residual bronze finish to the finger hole, and a simple wire helix, 6” (15 cm) in length. An unusual German straight pull corkscrew circa 1860, with a rustic handle and sprung button above the centre cut helix, 5¾” (14.5 cm) in length. A German frame corkscrew circa 1930, stamped ‘RECORD’ to one side of the steel frame and ‘D.R.G.M.’ to the other, and having a centre cut helix, 6¾” (17 cm) in length. And a partial puller circa 1890, unmarked but probably by Williamson of a design patented 1897 with bottle opener and knife to the shank above a plated bell and centre cut helix, 6” (15.5 cm) in length.
