A Fine Late 18th/Early 19th Century Turned Boxwood Spice Tower of fine colour & patination. The tower having a screw-on lid (cracked) intricately turned with concentric moulding above a stack of four screw-together cylindrical boxes with applied paper labels engraved ‘Mace’, ‘Cloves’, ‘Nutmegs’, and ‘Ginger’ on scrolling banners 10¼” (26 cm) in height, the lid 4” (10 cm) in diameter.*
