The rectangular marble slab top mounted with a brass canted weight platform on one side, missing pan on the other with a metal divide pierced with initiales CWS. The cavetto moulded oak plinth base on low bracket feet signed printed in gild with ”Equity” on one side and ”Co-operative Wholesale Ltd Makers Balloon St Manchester to weigh 20lb” 11½” (29 cm) high, 23” x 13” (58 cm x 33 cm).
