Description
Two Vintage Turned Lignum Police Truncheons emblazoned with crests depicted in colours & gilding and having reel turned handles fitted with leather wrist straps. One incorporating banners reading; ‘Manchester Special Constable William Riley 1915-1919’ with further inscription ‘W.H. Riley 32 Company’ in ink to the leather strap, 15” (38 cm) in length. The other inscribed ‘Lincolnshire Constabulary’ and commemorating ‘General Strike May 1926’, 15½” (39 cm) in length.
