The round brass tray top elaborately decorated with bands of intricate strap-work and script, turning over to reveal a square hinged ‘envelope’ section folding out to reveal a green baize playing surface. The hinged flaps secured by a sheet metal clip stamped ‘MOSQ CARD TALE PATENT APP FOR’. Standing on a pivoting base with turned legs and X-stretcher, 23½” (60 cm) high, 23” (60 cm) in diameter.
