A Late 18th/Early 19th Century Oak Curved High-backed Settle/Bacon Cupboard, attributed to the West Country. The tall panelled back and sides surmounted by a moulded ledge, with arm rests adjoined to the side panelling. The curved seat raised over three concaved twin-door cupboards fitted with brass knop handles, above a moulded plinth base. The bowed back having two pairs of upper cupboard doors enclosing a top compartment, over two pairs of long cupboard doors opening to reveal hanging space with two iron hooks to the centre. 71¾” (182 cm) high, 62½” (159 cm) wide.
