Four Straight-pull Corkscrews: A ‘LUND PATENT’ stamped corkscrew circa 1870 with turned pestle handle, a marked steel shank with ring section above perfect hire helix, 5” (13 cm) in length. An Edwin Wolverton type corkscrew circa 1880, having a turned and ebonised handle with hanging ring, a Holborn Signet type round finger pull to the shank and centre cut helix, 5½” (14 cm) in length. A turned wooden handled corkscrew with cyphered helix, circa 1900. And a horn handled corkscrew circa 1930 with a ringed baluster steel shank and wimple wire helix, 5” (13 cm) in length.
