Description
A Fine 19th Century Vienna Enamel Figural Clock. The movement with silver & champlevé enamelled dial set in an oval case surmounted by a stag, and raised upon the head of a renaissance huntsman with elaborately enameled costume holding aloft a bird. The domed base raised on three satyr masks. The back of the case and the domed base finely painted in polychrome enameled with delightful scenes of country folk at leisure with a painting of two men smoking concealed within the case and a continuous landscape to the underside, 8½” (21.5 cm) in height.
