A Georgian Silver Tankard with hinged lid hallmarked London 1790 and stamped with maker’s punch for John King. The flat hinged lid with cupid’s bow shaped lip and a pierced thumb piece attached to the handle, opening to reveal a gilt interior. The body with bands of reeding. 6” (15 cm) high to thumb piece.
