An Unusual French 18th Century & later Hutch Table. The top having a twin planked flap on iron loop hinges to one end, rising to access the box compartment below, with the rest of the surface composed of three planks overhanging the other end above a sliding panel. The twin panelled sides gouge carved all around with undulating stems of leaves and daisy wheels; one side incorporating a small central door on iron hinges with a turned knob handle. The piece standing on stile supports 29 in (74 cm) high, 60 in (153 cm) wide, 25 in (64 cm) deep.
