Description
A Victorian Silver Ewer by Benson & Webb for Hunt & Roskell, London 1895. The George II Style body of shouldered form with twelve concave-sided facets raised on a pedestal foot and fitted with an ebonised handle and hinged lid surmounted by a finial knop. The borders enriched with bands of bright engraving, the front emblazoned with an armorial shield within a husked wreath, 12½” (32 cm) in height, approx. weight 740g.
