Description
Two 19th Century English Straight-pull Patent Corkscrews with simple turned wooden handles: One by W Gamble Circa 1886 stamped on the strap shank with two wrythen prongs above the simple wire helix, 4¼” (11 cm) in length. The other by James Wilson circa 1880, with ‘S. PATENT’ to the shaft above a double simple helix, 3¾” (9.5 cm) in length.
