Description
A Small Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Box-topped Work Table. The stepped top having a central humped divide with pierced handle, a lidded box compartment to one side, and a shallower box and demi-lune tray to the other. The hinged slope lids centred by inlaid conch shell motifs and fanned quadrants to corners framed by cross-banded borders. The D-shaped tray with patera inlay and chequered edging. The piece raised on slender square tapering legs with ceramic castors, 29” (74 cm) high, 14” (36 cm) wide, 19¾” (50 cm) long.
