A Collection of Antique Brassware: To include a McDonald’s 1892 Patent Rotary Gas Hat Iron with turned & ebonised handle, 9¼” (23.5 cm) in length. A sexfoil porringer embossed with a Tudor rose to the centre and having decorative pierced lug handles each side. An early 19th century wax jack. A continental brass candleholder with turned socket pierced with stub ejector on a knopped stem tapering down to a small screw on quatrefoil base, 6¼” (16 cm) high. An ornamental spoon with decorative engraving to the bowl on a twisted handle with hemispherical cup to the end, 7” (18 cm) in length. An antique brass samovar on three scroll legs standing on a galleried triform tray. A baluster jug decorated with tasseled cord tied around it’s neck and raised on four scroll legs 8” (20 cm) in height. Also an ornamental pewter spoon 8¼” (21 cm) in length and a steel crimper.
