Description
A Group of Victorian & Early 20th Century Copper & Brass-ware. A Samovar with a flower head finial, coiled ropetwist handles and a square plinth base on ball feet, 12½” (32 cm) high. A Bar Grate Trivet with pierced sliding lyre shaped top plate. A decorative cast brass twin aperture strut frame; the rococo surround adorned with flowers and crested with a cabochon cartouche dated Anno 1906 above two oval picture aperture standing on scroll feet 11” (28 cm) high, 9½” (24 cm) wide. Two embossed oval sheet copper medallions; one depicting a reclining cherub with love bird, 3” x 4” (7.5 cm x 10 cm), the other the profile head of a man in feathered cap 4¼” x 3¼” (10.5 cm x 8 cm). A pair of sheet brass finials in the form of lady’s boots, 5” (13 cm) high. And a wine coaster with turned ebony base and cast brass sides in the form of fruiting vine.
