A Delightful Miniature Model of a 19th Century Buckinghamshire Hoop-back Windsor Armchair; A late 20th century copy of a type made by Robert Priory Uxbridge (fl 1816-45). The hoop framing three decorative fretwork splats pierced with Prince of Wales plumes flanked by conforming underarm splats. Standing on baluster turned legs united by a crinoline stretcher and incised to the underside ‘RJ READING PJ ROSE COWBEECH’ 9¾” (25 cm) high, 5½” (14 cm) wide.
