The tall centre back splat pierced with decorative fret-work and flanked by four long stick spindles each side piercing through the arm bow with four further underarm spindles and bent crook end supports. The elm seat with scribed edging line morticed through with cabriole legs united by a turned H-form stretcher, 40” (102 cm) high, 27” (69 cm) wide, the seat 17¼” (44 cm) high.
