Description
Three 19th Century Henshall-type Straight-pull Corkscrews with decoratively turned wooden handles: One circa 1840, stamped ‘WILMOT & ROBERTS PATENT’, around the wrythen fluted button, with a knopped bronze shank and wire helix, 5¾” (14.5 cm) in length. One with a knopped baluster shank above a plain discoid button and wire helix, 5½” (14 cm) in length. The third with twin baluster shank above a petalled button and simple wire helix, 6” (16 cm) in length.
