Description
Three 19th Century Country Stools: One having a rectangular slab seat pierced by four stick legs retaining red lead paint work 13” (33 cm) high, 15” x 9¼” (38 cm x 23.5 cm). One with a thick rectangular seat with chamfered under-edge pierced by rectangular tenons of four splayed chamfered block legs 13” (33 cm) high, 18” x 14” (46 cm x 36 cm). The third having an ash rounded oblong seat with pierced hand hold, on a joined painted pine base of square tapering legs united by an H-form stretcher, 15½” (39 cm) high, 16¼” x 11¾” (42 cm x 30 cm).
