Description
A Large & Impressive Victorian Silver Centre Piece by Robert Hennell III with assay marks for London 1859. The bowl with flared rim, a ring of beading and decorative frieze embossed & chased with acorns and oak leaves, elevated on a centre pedestal with three protuberant lion heads festooned in bell flower garlands. The domed foot ornamented with garlands of oak leaves and laurel, 11¾” (30 cm) high, 10½” (27 cm) in diameter. Approx 1400 g.
