Three 18th/19th Century Turned Treen Apothecary’s Searces. Each having an engrailed flange to the rim and an aperture to the centre of the bowl; the largest with remnants of a mesh sieve, decorative astragal moulding to the short stem above the flared foot, 2 3/8” (6 cm) high, 4¾” (12 cm) in diameter. The next with ring turned moulding to the sides and a crack to the bowl, standing on a flared pedestal foot 2¾” (7 cm) high, 4” (11.5 cm) in diameter. The smallest with groove turned decoration, 2¼” (5.5 cm) high, 4” (10 cm) in diameter.*
