The padded yellow silk bed head in a sweeping elaborately carved silvered giltwood frame carved with looped stems of crested acanthus leaves raised up into an arch at the centre; the lavishly scrolled terminals festooned in roses, 47” (120 cm) high, 79” (200 cm) wide. A silvered giltwood wall brackets having moulded bow front shelves raised on voluted scroll supports adorned with opulent acanthus sprays and swagged with garlands of roses from the coiled terminals, 18” (46 cm) high, 12” (30 cm wide, 11 (28 cm) deep.
