The larger one circa 1870, having a turned rosewood handle with original brush and hanging ring, a brass frame with radial fluted dome top and oval apertures either side, and a centre cut helix with point, 5½” (14 cm) in length. The smaller example with circa 1870, with turned rosewood handle, brass frame and solid cut helix, 4¼” (11 cm) in length.
