A Large Worcester Blue & White Sauce Boat Circa 1765. The helmet shaped body crisply moulded with scroll-bordered panels reserved on a basket-weave ground, with a vignette panel below the spout. The side panels painted in blue with the ‘Man with a Bomb’ pattern depicting a chinese figure flanked by rockwork and willow tree to one side, with a fisherman to the reserve, and painted sprays to the interior. The base with crescent mark, 4” (10 cm) in height, 7½” (19 cm) in width.
