Three Pieces of Treen: A Late 18th Century Stained Boxwood Jar & Cover of barrel form, the underside and screw thread lid inscribed in ink Elizabeth Howell 1794, the sides decorated with a scratch-carved and groove turned centre band, 3¼” (8 cm) high, 2¼” (6 cm) in diameter. A 19th Century Turned Walnut Spill Vase on a pedestal foot and square ebonised plinth base, 6½” (16.5 cm) in height. And a 19th Century Stained Boxwood Jar on a turned pedestal foot, the lid swept up to the centre and surmounted by an acorn finial, 6” (15 cm) in height.*
