Description
An 18th Century Enamelled Copper Box of rectangular form. The exterior decorated all over in raised gilding and translucent enamels over coloured foils on a white ground, depicting a three tiered fountain adorned with layers of sea shells with a dog drinking at its foot and a bird perched on a tree to one side within entwined undulating scrolls of flowers and foliage, 1½” (4 cm) high, 3¼” (8.5 cm) high, 2½” (6.5 cm) deep.
