Two English Down Hearth Cooking Pans Circa 1700. One of bronze alloy with flanged rim encircled by an iron ring on a long handle chased with zig-zag decoration, fitted with a prop and terminating with a scrolled bifoil finial, 25½” (65 cm) in length, 8¼” (21 cm) in diameter. The other slightly larger pan of brass, with punched lunettes decorating the handle and a pierced loop end, 28” (71 cm) long, 9½” (24 cm) in diameter.
