Description
A Victorian Figured Walnut Writing Box inlaid with ‘Tunbridge-ware’ parquetry bands and a mother of pearl lozenge to the lid. The box of slightly domed form opening to form a writing slope with leather insert, enclosing compartments below, and having a partitioned section for pen and inks, 6” (15 cm) high, 12” (30 cm) wide, 9½” (24 cm) deep.
