A Handsome Silver Mounted Inkwell/Watch Holder hallmarked London 1907 with Stewart Dawson & Co Ltd maker’s punch. The round silver cased watch receptacle displayed on a hinged strut support above the glass block inkwell, and folding flat to form the stopper. The back engraved with hand-scribed initials JMB 1914-1916. The strut support stamped Rd 48767. The square inkwell moulded with bevel sides and having a star cut base, 5” (13 cm) [watch up], 3½” (9 cm) watch flat, 3½” (9 cm) square.
