Description
A 19th Century Continental Painted Pine Cabinet with decorative faux inlay on a dark scumbled ground, incorporating a small rectangular pictorial panel to each door painted in blue & white with a girl & boy fetching water, signed JA Stockman. The moulded top above a frieze drawer overhanging the two panel doors and two long drawers below, with turned wooden escutcheons and knop handles, flanked by scale decorated pilasters leading down to the block feet, 61” (155 cm) high, 36½” (93 cm) wide, 15” (38 cm) deep.
