Description
A Flamboyant Christofle Centre Piece with a Cut Glass Bowl raised on a silver-plate & gilt metal stand. The bowl having a serpentine cut rim and star cut base etched around the side with pairs of birds perched on tree branches between S-scrolls swagged with garlands of fruit. The bowl supported on the tails of four golden dolphins raised on a circular platform above an oval base with scrolling feet, mounted with two large shell dishes either side held by fish-tailed cherubs, and adorned with cabochons in scrolled cartouches to the front and back. The base with Christofle plaque to the underside. 17” (43 cm) in height.
