A Group of Treen Dairy Items: Two early 19th century sycamore chessels or cheese vats with pierced, groove turned bases; one 3½” (9 cm) high, 8¾” (22 cm) in diameter, the other 2¾” (7 cm) high, 7” (18 cm) in diameter. Two ring turned lids approx 5½” (14 cm) in diameter. An odd beechwood lid with recessed knop handle, 5” (12.5 cm) in daimeter. A flat round-bodied board on a paddle handle with opposing draining spout to the raised border 15” (39 cm) in length. A 19th century sycamore butter pat 14” (35.5 cm) in length. Two pairs of vintage butter pats 9¾” (25 cm) and 9” (23 cm) in length. And a turned ash bowl 4½” (11.5 cm) high, 12¼” (31 cm) in diameter.*
