The pierced cresting rail carved by a cherub to the centre flanked by barley-twist uprights surmounted by turned finials. The foliate carved arms on barleytwist supports leading down to the caned seat above ball turned legs united by a spiral-turned front stretcher and plain side rails, 44” (112 cm) high, 20½” (52 cm) wide.*
