Description
A Painted English Spindle Back Rush-seat Chair attributed to North West Region, Circa 1800. The dipped top rail above three rows of turned baluster spindles between round-turned uprights with nipple finials. The rush seat on turned legs with pad & block feet, united by turned stretchers. The chair with distressed pale blue green paint-work, 44” (112 cm) high, 22½” (57 cm) wide.
