Two 19th Century Treen Sewer’s Companion Table Clamps, and two Treen Knitting Sheathes: A Folk Art Clamp having a simple table block with screw-thread fastener surmounted by a pivoting naively modelled crocodile with incised markings, a hinged jaw with serrated teeth, and pin cushion inset to the hinged tail, 6¾” (17 cm) in length. A round turned ebonised clamp with a velvet pin cushion atop a campana urn raised on a circular pedestal/ table clamp with thread thread fastener, 8” (20 cm) in height. The knitting sheath with a slightly curved blade-type shaft and ring moulded haft flaring out to the top, 10” (25.5 cm) in length. The other with a long curved shaft on a round section haft with incised ring turning. 11” (28 cm) in length.
