A 19th Century Viennese Silver Gilt Boudoir Clock in an elaborately cast case surmounted by three female figures wearing jewel studded robes depicted winding yarn; one standing, one seated and one kneeling on a rocky base encrusted with rubies, diamond chips and seed pearls. The case raised on the backs of mermen with forked fish tails. The dial engraved with scrollwork and inset with amethyst enamelled numeral cartouches to the border [lacking hands]. 6¼” (16 cm) in height.
