The hinged lid on wire loop handles elaborately decorated with geometric carved roundels and incorporating initials I W M W. The chip carving continued around the front and sides with a naive gouge carved depiction of a quadruped, tree, trailing foliage and a crown to the back, 5” (13 cm) high, 11½” (29 cm) long, 5” (13 cm) wide. *
