Description
An English Creamware Satyr Jug Circa 1790, relief moulded with a bearded face mask wreathed in fruiting vine, and stiff leaves rising form the raised foot enhanced with brown, blue, yellow, ochre & green enamels 4¼” (11 cm) in height, and another late 18th century satyr jug daubed with brown & green glaze and mounted on a painted ochre foot (A/F) 4¼” (11 cm) in height.
