A Charming 19th Century Dutch Foot Warmer enriched with chip carving. The near square top ventilated by a pierced roundel infilled with looped strapwork within a chip carved border and reeded surrounds, with initials JS and date 1895 either side, fitted with a wire swing handle. Each side intricately chip carved with decorative roundels. The door fitted with a brass turn latch handle, 8” (20 cm) high, 9¾” (24.5 cm) wide, 8½” (21.5 cm) deep.*
